Help us transform mental health conversations in hospitals
This winter, We Can Talk is opening access to our award-winning mental health e-learning programme to all NHS acute trusts, thanks to support from NHS England. To ensure this training reaches as many staff, students, and volunteers as possible, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join us as We Can Talk champions.
What is We Can Talk?
We Can Talk is an award-winning, nurse-led organisation transforming how hospital staff support patients attending due to their mental health. Since 2017, we have delivered over 50,000 hours of co-produced education, combining insights from staff, mental health professionals, and people with lived experience. Our innovative e-learning programme has reached tens of thousands of NHS staff, empowering them to feel more confident and capable in providing compassionate, effective care. With the largest database of hospital staff experiences of mental health at work, We Can Talk is driving cultural change across the NHS, improving outcomes for staff and patients alike.
In 2025, we are working to train one in five staff to transform one million mental health conversations in acute hospital settings.
