Robin Barker, Project Lead
Robin is the Project Lead for We Can Talk and a senior mental health nurse in the NHS who works with children, young people and their parents / carers in a variety of community and acute hospital settings. He is the Director of Healthy Teen Minds, a company who train and advise organisations across the UK, and has worked on national programmes at NHS England and, most recently, Health Education England before leaving to focus on expanding We Can Talk.
Kate Martin, Development Lead
Kate is the Development Lead for We Can Talk, ensuring the project grows while maintaining our central co-production principles. She is the Director of Common Room, a consultancy led by people with lived experience, and works across disability, health and mental health to promote collaborative practice, involving young people in decisions about their care and enabling staff who work with young people to understand and support them in the best ways possible.
Beth Ingram, Senior Young Advisor
Beth is a Senior Young Advisor who co-delivers on our We Can Talk training days and supports our engagement with local young people’s organisations. She is also a the Director of Hearts and Minds, a peer support group for young people experiencing mental health difficulties, and an active YouTuber.

Martha ensures everything is running as smoothly as possible and is a source of information, advice and guidance on all things We Can Talk.
Luís Costa da Silva, Research Associate
Luís oversees all our surveys and questionnaires to make sure we are asking the right questions and analyses the data to measure the impact of the project.
Grace Jeremy, Associate Trainer
Grace was our first Young Advisor at We Can Talk and continues to co-train new Project Leads and Young Advisors when her full-time roll training young people to take on mental health campaigning and activism allows.

CORC are the preferred data partner for We Can Talk as they are amazing to work with and really know their stuff. They independently analyse our staff survey and impact data to ensure we can provide high quality reports to partners and build the evidence base for training acute hospital staff in children and young people’s mental health.
