Robin founded We Can Talk in 2017 while working as a senior mental health nurse in specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). He is now the CEO and founder at People Unlimited, which is transforming the way the world feels about mental health. Robin provides strategic support, guidance and oversight to the We Can Talk project.

Chris Kerr

Chris is the National Director of We Can Talk and a dual trained registered nurse (adult and child) with more than 30 years experience and specialist qualifications in emergency care, paediatric intensive care, autonomous practice and practice education. Chris was part of the original We Can Talk pilot project and has continued to work with us alongside senior roles at Health Education England and various NHS trusts. Chris oversees the delivery of the We Can Talk project providing expert advice, leadership and training alongside her operational roles.

Natalie Hodgson

Natalie joined the We Can Talk team in 2022 and brings more than 20 years of experience working in Emergency Departments as an adult nurse. She applies her knowledge and experience to support our amazing project leads across England to roll-out local quality improvement projects. She is passionate about changing the experience for for young people attending hospital in mental health crises as well as the staff who support them.

Young Advisors

Our Young Advisors are young people aged 18-25 with lived experience of presenting to hospital due to their mental health. They co-design and co-deliver training, resources and events for We Can Talk, plus regularly speak at external conferences and webinars. They help ensure that everything we do amplifies the voice of people with lived experience.

Our We Can Talk family includes our amazing Project Leads, frontline clinicians from acute and mental health working together to lead the project locally, and our network of Associate Trainers from various backgrounds – lived experience, CAMHS and acute.
